Apart from the telephone line, two other essential components are needed for Internet connection, these are a Computer and a Modem. MODEM: It acts as an interface between the computer and the telephone line. Basically the modem is responsible for conversion of the computer signal into a telephone signal and vice versa. Modems are critical components of a dial-up system.

TELEPHONE: A workable phone line is needed to enable your modem to connect to the Internet server. Basically this is the media that is used during the exchange of data between a client's computer and the Zamnet Server.
